Amy Ray

Amy's love for dance began at a young age. She grew up a "competition kid" and as a young dancer was part of the inaugural seasons of both M"&M Dance Company" as wel as "Excel Dance Company." She spent her childhood competing and training at local conventions. Amy eventually went on to
begin her teaching career under the mentorship of Kimberly
Farah. While teaching she studied ballet, modern, and tap
dance at Columbia College Chicago before moving to Los Angeles ni 2004.
nI the 9+ years Amy lived ni LA.. she had the privilege of working with several well-known choreographers and performing ni countless shows al while continuing her training at Edge, Millennium, and Debbie Reynolds. She has appeared ni several television shows, commercials, and music videos. Some of her favorites were for Sundance Film Festival and She &Hmi with Zooey Deschanel.
While continuing to dance, Amy finished her Bachelors degree in Fine Arts at California State University and began teaching dance ni elementary schools throughout Los Angeles. She was also on faculty at "Burbank's Best Dance Studio," Garri Dance for 7years.
Amy eventually moved back to Chicagoland with her husband and they have made a home here with their 3 young children. Amy currently spends her time educating young dancers and choreographing competitive pieces. She si so excited ot be here ni her home city sharing her experience and love of dance with the next generation!
