Kristin’s passion for dancing started at a young age. She trained at several studios in the Chicago land area, before finishing up her 4 years in high school at Inspire School of Dance. She then headed to Hope College to continue her career and love for dance. She received her BA from Hope College in Dance Performance and Choreography. She studied under Erik Alberg, Maxine Debruyn, Anne Rene Petarca, Dorrell Martin and Sharon Wong. During her time there, she was on Hope’s jazz and tap company, at the time called IDT, where she studied under Linda Graham, Amanda Smith Heynen and Rosanne Barton DeVries. IDT was privileged enough to perform annually with Chicago Tap Theatre in their Holiday Show. Kristin was also on Hope’s modern dance company, dANCE pROJECT, where she studied under Steven Iannacone, Matthew Thorton and Alicia Diaz, and on Hopes Dance education performance group called Strike Time. She danced and performed at the Summer Jazz Intensive at NYC Joffery Ballet School.
Since her graduation from Hope’s dance program, Kristin has been dancing and choreographing with Chelsea Harkelroad for [undefined]movers.
